Listening to Phantom Four's new album Mandira. They're definitely favorites in the surf world, so I don't think anybody expected anything less than great, but this is the best I've heard from them so far. Definitely a middle/far eastern flavor, intricacy over power, and some great spacey trancey bits and some sitar bits too. Sorry, it's not review-o'clock.
You can stream it on bandcamp, but prices are all in euros for purchase. I got it for pretty cheap on amazon.
