Barbacoa's self-titled was real solid no-frills surf, and thankfully they went ahead and gave us more of that for their most recent release. It's been making my Tuesday pretty nice.

On Monday we had Bruiser Broussard making noise in the dim windowless basement that is the WTUL studio! Bruiser currently doesn't have an album so this is as good as it gets. Really I don't think it sounds half bad for two mics.

Daikaiju's shows are absolutely nuts. While I think it's best that you go in blind, here's a video in case you need convincing.

The Unnaturals will also be there in case you haven't seen one of our finest instro groups already.
