UPLOAD SOME SPOOKY AUDIO FOR THE HOLLEREEN SHOW

Is one zombie frightening? No, you need many zombies, hordes of them! Which is why I'm calling on you to help out with the annual Hollereen Show on October 27th! For the past few years I've had listeners call in to the FRIGHT LINE and record death threats, spooky noises, werewolf snarls, and occasionally cute kids.. You can still do that! The number to call is (504) 457-8126. But now there's the option to upload it here as well...

Bandcamp Friday Roundup: November 2022

Monster Wave

After last month's relative dearth of new surf releases, sure enough October picked up the pace, accelerating towards Halloween day. And sure enough there were a ton of releases on that day. Stop doing that. Anyway, shall we unwrap some leftover Halloween candy?

For the past few years I've had listeners call in to the FRIGHT LINE and record death threats, spooky noises, werewolf snarls, and occasionally cute kids.. You can still do that! The number to call is (504) 222-2595. That's a google voice line that only exists for you to leave a terrifying message that I'll play between songs, nobody will pick up.

Hella Vader - The Frig*O*Riffic Fuzz Sounds of...

Ideally I would have discovered this before Halloween but Hella Vader likes to date all their releases to 1964 in Bandcamp so it passed me by. But if you want to turn back the clock a week, this should be pretty excellent listening. Hella Vader is never really straightforward, but this is one long cut-up of previous songs and new ones and general guitar weirdness that definitely would have weirded the kids out when they knocked on the door.
